Who are we?

The Italian Front Project is a living history association based in the Eastern region of the United States. The goal of the Project is to provide a tangible, exciting form of educational historical interpretation to better our understanding of the Italian front in the First World War and how it impacted world history.
The Italian Front Project seeks to provide the public with authentic representations and interpretations of the lives and times of the men and women of the era. To that end, the IFP sets a high standard, bearing in mind that, when in the uniform, we represent and assume the responsibility for those whose voices are now gone, carrying on their stories on their behalf, here in the United States. The scope of the Italian Front Project encompasses all aspects of the First World War theater between the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Kingdom of Italy, and their respective allies, from 1915 to 1918. Many IFP members have relatives or ancestors who served in the Great War, but this is not a prerequisite to membership. The IFP welcomes all who are interested and willing to do their part, regardless of ethnicity, religion, orientation, or gender. |
